Oxygen saturation refers to the extent to which haemoglobin is saturated with oxygen. Haemoglobin is an element in your blood that binds with oxygen to carry it through the bloodstream to the organs, tissues, and cells of your body.
Sp02 Levels may vary for individuals with comorbidities including but not limited to obstructive lung disease, congenital heart disease, & anaemia. Individuals with nail polish/disease may also experience difficulties in detecting oxygen saturation levels.
