Temperature also varies according to physical activities throughout the day & is typically elevated after any form of physical activity. Normal body temperature may change during any given day & is usually highest in the evening.

Normal temperature varies with individuals & also changes depending on the time of the day.
It is recommended to take regular measurements under the following conditions:
– Measure with the same thermometer
– Measure at the same area
– Measure at the same time of day
What are symptoms of a fever?
- A fever temperature is above 37.5˚C
- Hot & flushed face
- Headache
- Body Aches
- Feeling light headed
- Sweating & thirst
- Head, neck & body may feel hot while hands & feet are cold
- Shivering
- Unexplained crying & irritability in children
- Confusion (especially in elderly)
